If you're doing a luxury bathroom remodeling project, consider some of these features.

At one time, heated towel racks were the height of luxury, but today's high-end bathroom manufacturers offer a wide range of far more luxurious equipment. If you're doing a luxury bathroom remodeling project, consider some of these features.

1. Look beyond the plain old ceramic or acrylic sink. High-end sinks are made of copper, bronze, stone, carved marble, glass, cloisonné, Venetian glass mosaic, or hand-painted porcelain or pottery. 2. Sinks on top. While undermounted sinks are still popular, the luxury sink of choice is usually a vessel sink sitting on top of the vanity. 3. Adjustable Faucets. Higher-end faucets are jointed in two or three places so that you can direct the water jet where you want it. You can also adjust the water stream for a gentler or more forceful spray. 4. Consider multiple showerheads. Today's luxury showers come with multiple jets lining the walls and even the ceiling. Imagine a shower with up to 55 individual water jets - each of which can be positioned specifically where you want it to spray on your body.
