Having a fitted bedroom design also allows you to create a walk-in closet where you can have roomy shoe racks, and individual spaces for different kinds of apparel—jackets, suits, pants, dresses, shirts, gym clothes, and so on. As for your bookshelves, you can have a working table right under it, or a provision where you can place your flat screen television and other media equipment. You can also have your cabinets designed in such a way that it forms a small canopy over your bed where you can install some energy-saving reading lights.

For instance, your clothes cabinet can actually have some provisions for a small vanity table with a mirror. A fitted bedroom is a good way to hit three to four birds with the same stone. Do not be afraid to incorporate some personal touches. From there, you can get all sorts of ideas you can apply to your living space.

Look at the things you intend to put inside your bedroom and the things you need to store in each cabinet. Refer to swatches and gather a bunch of patterns you find of interest and find out how you can make them go well together. Get the specs of your area—the shape, the size, and the predominant color of the room.
